Where in the World Wednesday (Thursday) [04.09.15]

In yesterday’s Facebook post, I was at D’jango, correctly identified by my friend, Lisa. Well. Done.

This was the best gimlet so far, Bombay Sapphire gin, simple syrup, and freshly-squeezed lime juice. Deftly prepared by mixologist, Josh, the cocktail was shaken and served up. I was asked if I wanted it up or on the rocks. Always, always choose, up. Cost: $5 during happy hour.

Remember to tip on the full price.

I also sampled (three times) the Rhubarb Fizz as outlined in the happy hour menu below. It was fabulous and will be a go-to drink when I’m at D’jango. The syrup was created by one of their other expert bar tenders, CJ.

And you can’t go wrong with their happy hour apps. Not on the menu but available by request, duck wings. Bigger and better than those of the chicken. Très French.
